New Woodchip factory has a total Area of 25.000 Square meters with a 9.500 m2 covered warehouse, the factory is located at same installations at Outer Port Ferrol. (Nw of Spain – 1,067 metres long protective seawall, 858 metres long shore dock with a depth of 20 metres, 89.3 hectares of land areas, of which 55 are operative, shore dock Maximun Depth – 20 m.)

ioEnergy will act as a catalyst to promote the growth of sustainable biomass usage in Spain. It will help mobilise biomass from the private forestry sector, including harvesting/transport of product from source to end use..

Biomass is any organic plant based material that can be processed to produce electricity, fuel or energy. It is typically derived from sustainable forestry, forestry residues, and other sustainable energy crops.
